My little boy was feeling pretty bad last night. He has been battling an intestinal virus, which gave me a pretty ouchy diaper rash in just a few hours. Today, he stayed at home with me and I tried to mend his delicate derrier with aquafor, warm showers, and air. He's doing much better this afternoon. I hope we're past the worst of it.

I sure hope Xander bean is feeling better...but,WOW...I have another favorite photo! Beautiful.
He's feeling much better. In fact, he has been feeling fine this whole time except for diaper rash from the loose stool. The diaper rash went away after we got him out of school and were back to do insta-changes after he went. Now, we just have to get him back to normal stool so he can go back to school.
That is a beautiful picture.........sorta like the Madonna and Child !!
Yeah, good things you got the dogs to eat the spillage.
Love this pic. Precious moments. Just wondering what diapers and wipes you use? Paige has never (crossing fingers & toes) had a diaper rash. We have a friend who's baby got a really bad one and asked what kind of diapers we use. She switched to our brand and hassn't had one since. We use Pampers Wwaddlers or Crusiers and the Pamper's Sensitive wipes. Might be worth a try. :) Glad he's feeling better.
Thanks for the comment about diapers, Kristen. Xander uses huggies with target-brand unscented wipes. I think the diaper rash was a combo of diarrhea plus being at day care. When Xander is at home, we catch a dirty diaper right away and change it. However, at day care, it might be on longer. They check his diaper every hour or if they notice...when he had diarrhea, he was going about every 45min. The diarrhea is very acidic and even sitting it it for 15 min. could have caused a rash. This is why they send kids home if they have diarrhea.
