Xander is progressing on the potty training. He goes most of the time when he is asked to sit on the potty.
Some of the not so great things. He especially loves to read books while sitting on the potty. While this is great to get him to sit there, he loves books so much that we could really just spend all day with him on the potty. Sitting on the cold tile floor reading books not so much fun. It's sometimes hard to get him off the potty. Then, when he does finally decide to get up, he always seems to want to give me a big hug BEFORE washing his hands. Yucks.

yick!!!! that's so exciting though that he's doing so well with it!!
hey, that reminded me: we had R mostly potty trained before RUS was born but her day care teacher warned us to expect some regression after he was born. sure enough, she was wanting to wear diapers like him, etc. etc. and there were more accidents for a period. it wasn't that long of a phase i don't think (i have to refresh my memory by reading back blog posts to be sure).
but just wanted to throw that in there. how are you feeling? how far along are you now??
Oh, thanks for that advice. Xander's teacher mentioned that regression, too. She thinks that Xander will be potty trained by December. I hope she is right because it will be nice to only have to change 1 kid's diapers.
I'm 17 weeks along and feeling much better. I finally have some energy back and nausea is mostly gone. Yay!
